Before the Scan
- Remove any metallic objects from the head and neck area (e.g., earrings, necklaces, glasses)
- Bring your referral or any previous dental imaging reports
During the Scan
- You will stand or sit with your chin on a rest while the machine rotates around your head
- The scan takes approximately 10–20 seconds
- The procedure is painless and non-invasive
- Minimal radiation exposure is used
After the Scan
- You can resume normal activities immediately
- Images are reviewed by a radiologist and sent to your referring dentist or specialist
