  • Heavy current or former smokers
  • At least 30 pack-year smoking history

Availability: Lung screening is available at all of our clinics. Our team will advise the nearest location when booking.

What Is Lung Screening?

Lung screening uses low-dose CT (LDCT) scans to detect small nodules or abnormalities in the lungs before symptoms appear.

  • Low radiation dose for safety
  • Quick and non-invasive
  • Helps doctors detect lung cancer at an early stage

During the Scan

  • You lie on the CT table

After the Scan

  • You can resume normal activities immediately
  • Your radiologist reviews the images and sends a report to your GP or specialist
  • Abnormal findings are followed up according to NLCSP guidelines
